A Venue for the Community

 

Illawarra Sports Stadium has two major halls or operational areas each of approximately 1400sqm which have a very wide range of functions and opportunities.

There is a mezzanine area of some 250sqm which provides an excellent viewing of the activities at the Stadium and complements the major halls.

Complementing these areas are public amenities, change rooms, training and multifunction room, first aid room and a professional room for meetings and VIP guests. The Stadium grandstand seats some 350 with room for additional temporary grandstands

SPORT

 

It services a wide cross section of community sporting agencies and organisations providing an outstanding venue for activities including

  • Futsal(Indoor Soccer)
  • Indoor bowls,
  • regular weekly school sport for both high and primary schools,
  • community and school dance groups,
  • sport & recreation programmes
  • major sporting events



Community & Commercial

 

The Illawarra Sports Stadium is available throughout the year (subject to bookings) from 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday and every weekend from mid-September to April from 7.00am to 10.00pm.

From April to mid-September the Illawarra Sports Stadium is available (subject to bookings) every Sunday from 7.00am to 10.00pm.
